Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Advocate.
Under challenge in the instant writ petition is FIR relating to Case Crime No. 458 of 2010, under Section 379 IPC, police station Ghazipur, district Lucknow.
Argument advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner is that specifically the FIR has been lodged against one Sarvjeet Rawat with respect to theft of motorcycle engine and since specific allegations are against the said accused, the police personnel of police station Ghazipur are harassing the petitioner unnecessarily without any rhyme or reason.
Learned Additional Government Advocate to obtain instructions from the police station concerned as to why and under what circumstances petitioner is being harassed or victimized by the police personnel.
List this case in the next week.
Till then, it is provided that the petitioner shall not be harassed or victimized by the police personnel, in any manner whatsoever, in the aforesaid case crime number subject to cooperation of the petitioner with the investigation, which shall go on.
