The applicant has filed this application for reducing the punishment imposed by the authority.
The first authority imposed punishment of forfeiture of one furlough and forfeiture of remission of 295 days. The said order was challenged before the higher authority and the authority modified the order and imposed punishment of forfeiture of two furloughs and the order of forfeiture of remission of 295 days was set aside. The applicant surrendered late by 295 days. In opinion of this Court, the punishment imposed by the authority is just and adequate and not required to be interfered with. Hence, this application is rejected.
