By means of the present petition, the petitioners herein seek for quashing of the first information report dated 14.08.2021 in Case Crime No.347 of 2021, under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506, 307, 376 & 511 IPC, Section 3/4 of the D.P. Act' 1961 and Section 3/4 of the Muslim Women Marriage Protection Act' 2019, P.S.- Nauchandi, District- Meerut.
From the allegations in the first information report, it cannot be said that they do not disclose commission of a cognizable offence.
The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners that all the allegations are false and concocted cannot be examined within the scope of Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
We do not find it a fit case for interference. Any interference at this stage may impede the process of speedy investigation.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
