Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents.
The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the respondent authorities to close the history sheet of the petitioner as History Sheet No.204/A dated 23.11.2019 and further to direct the respondent authorities not to make domiciliary visit disturbing the personal and private life of the petitioner and further to direct the respondent no.2 to decide the representation dated 27.11.2019.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has made a representation dated 27.11.2019 in respect of closing History Sheet No.204/A before the concerned authority which is still pending for consideration. Hence the concerned authority may be directed to decide the said representation within stipulated period.
Having regard to the facts of the case, we direct the Superintendent of Police, Rampur, respondent no.2 to make endeavour to redress the grievance of the petitioner as contained in the representation dated 27.11.2019 and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within two months from the date of communication of this order.
Needless to say that we have not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case and the authority concerned shall pass the order independently strictly in accordance with law.
