We are of the view that in this matter, no Writ of Habeas Corpus can be issued. However, it will be open for the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum against the alleged inaction on the part of the police.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
