ORDER:
Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for the respondents.
This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of respondents in opening a rowdy sheet against the petitioner.
The learned Government Pleader produced a copy of the written instructions received by him from the respondents, wherein it is stated as follows:
“ Further the above MD Khasim was not involved in any offences for the past two years and he is old aged person and residing along with his family members, presently no adverse report against his character. As such the SHO sent proposals to the SDPO, Manugur to close the sheet against him on the above circumstances. On the basis of the requisition of the SHO, the SDPO, Manuguru issued proceedings to close the rowdy sheet against MD Khasim on 26.07.2014 vide C.No.595/SDO-P/2014. Hence, the rowdy sheet is closed”
In view of the same, no further orders need be passed in the Writ Petition as the subject matter therein became infructuous.
The Writ Petition is therefore dismissed as having become infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
