We have heard Sri Rajesh Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
Through this writ petition prayer has been made to direct respondent no. 2 to consider and decide the application of the petitioner which is pending since long for grant of saw mill licence.
Considering the petitioner's prayer on 19.3.2018, learned Standing Counsel was directed to seek instructions, pursuant to learned Standing Counsel has sought instructions and submits that from perusal of the instructions it transpires that petitioner's application for grant of licence has already been rejected on 3.5.2011, and the aforesaid order has been passed considering the directions of this dated 20.1.2011, passed in Writ Petition No. 66065 of 2010.
Even after rejection of the petitioner's application in the year 2011, in case fresh application can be entertained, in that eventuality the competent authority shall consider the application of the petitioner, provided it is on proper format and all the requisite formalities are fulfilled, in accordance with law expeditiously, not later than ten weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
With the aforesaid observation/directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
