O R D E R:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents.
2. The petitioner is the owner of a small scale industry running under the name and style ‘Supreme Press Products’. He is engaged in the business of manufacturing iron grills and fabrication works. His unit was registered with the Sales Tax Authorities and he is doing the said business for the last 15 years. The wife of the petitioner was Councillor of Ward No.4 of Serilingampally Municipality for the period 2000-2005. The petitioner is the owner of land admeasuring 2275 square yards in Survey No.80 part of Hafeezpet Village, Ranga Reddy District. In connection with the said land, there are several civil disputes pending. The rivals of the petitioner filed several complaints against him as a result of which a rowdy sheet was opened against the petitioner. Challenging the action of the respondents in continuing the rowdy sheet against the petitioner in Miyapur Police Station, the present writ petition was filed.
3. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions dated 22.09.2014, states that a rowdy sheet is being maintained against the petitioner since 11.05.2002 in Miyapur Police Station. He was involved in ten cases and in all cases he was acquitted or the cases were compromised.
4. In view of the same, this writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to take into consideration the closure of the pending cases against the petitioner and pass appropriate orders for closure of the rowdy sheet against the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in consequence. No costs.
