1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner's application dated 24.02.2018 for grant of fire-arm license is stated to be pending before the District Magistrate, Allahabad (respondent no. 2). The petitioner further claims to be a victim of crime.
3. Without entering the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to the District Collector Prayagraj, District-Prayagraj (respondent no. 2) to decide the aforesaid application, strictly in accordance with law, preferably within a period of three months, from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
