Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel put his appearance on behalf of respondent nos. 1 and 2.
In view of the order proposed to be passed today, notices need not be issued to the respondent nos. 3 and 4.
It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the mutation proceeding under 12 of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 is pending consideration before Consolidation Officer, Sathiyawan, District Azamgarh/respondent no. 2 since 2015.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, without entering into the merits of the case the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent no. 2 to decide the Case No. 252 and 279 under section 12 of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953, expeditiously and preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
