The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the revenue authorities to remove the illegal encroachments made over plot Nos. 154Sa and 291, which is recorded as Pond in the revenue records.
The Standing Counsel has received instructions and has handed over a copy of the same to the Court, which is taken on record.
On the basis of his instructions, the Standing Counsel states that Case Nos. T-202114290702242 and T- 202114290702241 have been registered against the persons, who have encroached over the Gaon Sabha plot, under Section 67 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006 before the Tehsildar, Tehsil-Sevrai, District-Ghazipur.
The Tehsildar, Tehsil-Sevrai, District-Ghazipur is directed to decide the aforesaid cases within a period of six months from the date a copy of this order is produced before him, if still pending, and in case there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid cases.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
