Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.
The present petition has been filed for direction upon the court concerned to pass final decree following the preliminary decree passed in Original Suit No.191 of 1975, which is stated to have been affirmed by this Court in Second Appeal No.300 of 1983 by judgement and order dated 8th March, 2013.
The grievance of the petitioner is that an application for passing final decree was moved in the year 2014 and since then the same is pending as case no.122 of 2014.
From the order-sheet of the case it appears that various dates have been fixed in the proceeding and on few dates, the matter had to be adjourned on account of lawyers strike.
In view of the above, this Court finds no good reason to issue any specific direction upon the court concerned. However, it is observed that in absence of any legal impediment the court concerned shall proceed with the matter expeditiously, in accordance with law, without entertaining unnecessary adjournments from the parties.
With the aforesaid observation, the petition is disposed off.
