Sri Shashank Shekhar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, on instructions, submitted that the nomination of the petitioner for the post of President of Students' Union was rejected by the Election Officer. He further states that the representation filed by the petitioner has also been rejected.
Counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the writ petition with liberty reserved in favour of the petitioner to avail appropriate remedy.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as with drawn with liberty in terms of the prayer made.
