This Application is preferred by an under-trial prisoner involved in connection with offence registered at Kagdapith Police Station, Ahmedabad being I-C.R No. 230 of 2011.
It is submitted by the learned APP Shri Nanavati that the trial is concluded and the matter is fixed for pronouncement of the judgment, to which learned advocate Shri Khan does not have dispute. However, he urges that the period of sixty days prescribed under the law is over and the applicant is entitled to be enlarged on bail.
Considering the development in the matter, if the trial court does not pronounce its verdict in the case within thirty days from today, the applicant is at liberty to approach this Court once again. This Application at this stage is not being considered. Accordingly, this Criminal Misc. Application stands disposed of. Rule is discharged with no order as to costs.
