The petitioner's vehicle bearing Registration No.KL-30- B-7629 has been seized alleging contravention of the provisions of Mines and Mineral (Regulation & Development) Act,1957. The petitioner expressed his willingness to compound the offences . 2. In view of the above, there will be a direction to the 3rd respondent to release the vehicle to the petitioner on payment of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) towards compounding fee. On payment of the above amount, the vehicle shall be released forthwith. If any crime has been registered against the petitioner, the respondent shall report before the competent Jurisdictional Magistrate about the composition of offence. The respondent shall accept the compounding fee.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
