The petitioner, the registered owner of a heavy goods vehicle bearing registration No: KL-51B 7209 which is a tanker lorry has submitted Ext.P4 representation to the respondent seeking an alteration of the unladen weight that has been recorded in the registration particulars of the vehicle. The petitioner complains that no orders have been passed on Ext.P4 till date. He therefore seeks the issue of appropriate directions for the consideration of Ext.P4. I have heard the learned Govt. Pleader also. In view of the limited relief sought, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider Ext.P4 representation submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously WPC 13421/2014 2 as possible and at any rate within a period of three weeks of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
