JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition was filed by the Manager of an aided Upper Primary School seeking a direction to the respondents to ensure that no fireworks are conducted by the 1st respondent or its men in connection with a temple festival that was scheduled to be held on 12.04.2014. The incidental prayer in the writ petition is also with respect to the events that were to take place in connection with the said temple festival.
When the matter was taken up today, the learned Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that the matter has become infructuous owing to the temple festival already having concluded. Taking note of this submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
