The petitioner, owner of a stage carriage bearing registration No.KL-8 U 2085 applied for temporary permit on the route Ponnani - Guruvayur in the vacancy of stage carriage bearing registration No.KRH 7456 by Ext.P1. The petitioner prays for issuance of temporary permit to his stage carriage No.KL-8 U 2085 on the aforesaid route in the vacant timings of stage carriage bearing No.KRH 7456. 2. If vacancy of stage carriage bearing registration No.KRH 7456 is still in existence and no other person has applied for a temporary permit to operate a stage carriage in that vacancy, there shall be a direction to the respondent to issue a temporary permit of 20 days duration within one week from the date of WP(C).29637/14 2 production of a copy of this judgment by passing appropriate orders on Ext.P1. Needless to say, such issuance of temporary permit will be subject to the preferential claim, if any.
