ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“…to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of “Writ of Mandamus” by declaring the action of the Official Respondent Nos.1 to 3 more particularly the action of the Respondent No.3 as arbitrary, ex-facie illegal, highhanded and discriminatory by issuing letter dt.27.10.2014 addressed to the Respondent No.4 to seek police protection, so that the Respondent No.3 will restore the electricity supply in the Writ Petitioner’s mulgi in ground floor in house property bearing Municipal No.22- 8-588/3/A, situated at Lakkad Kote, Chattabazar, in spite of having knowledge about the Orders dt.27.10.2014 passed this Hon’ble Court in W.P.No.25353 of 2014 and consequently this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to direct the Respondent No.3 or any of his subordinates not to take any coercive steps in restoring the electricity supply in the Writ Petitioner’s property till the Writ Petitioner pursues his legal remedies as per said Order dt.27.10.2014 in W.P.No.25353 of 2014, in the interest of justice.”
At the hearing, Sri Nazir Ahmed Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner, requested for permission of the Court to withdraw the writ petition.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn.
As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.41562 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
