J U D G M E N T The appeal is filed by the appellant seeking for enhancement of compensation awarded by the Tribunal vide its judgment and award dated 16.07.2015 in MVC.No.1363/2014.
2. The appellant has sustained grievous injuries in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on 09.08.2014. The Tribunal has awarded a compensation of Rs.80,000/- with interest at 6% per annum.
3. The learned counsel for both sides submitted that the global compensation of Rs.30,000/- may be awarded. The submission is placed on record.
4. The appeal is allowed in part. The global compensation of Rs.30,000/- is granted apart from the compensation awarded by the Tribunal. The global compensation does not carry interest.
