1. Heard Sri Gulab Chandra, learned Counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for State.
2. The only prayer in this writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent authorities to accept offline temporary cinema renewal licence application of petitioner for future six months till online portal / website of temporary cinema licence renewal application is not made available.
3. When inquired as to whether any authority has refused to accept petitioner's application for renewal of licence, learned Counsel for petitioner could not point out any document showing refusal of petitioner's request or application.
4. Moreover, there is no averment in the entire writ petition to the effect that petitioner ever approached any particular authority who has refused to accept petitioner's application. Without pleading any cause of action, this writ petition has been filed which is nothing but only abuse of process of law.
5. Writ petition is dismissed with a cost of Rs.5,000/-.
