Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Standing Counsel has accepted notice on behalf of respondent no.1 whereas Sri Aditya Bhushan Singhal, learned counsel appears on behalf of respondents no.2 & 3 and Sri Pranjal Mehrotra, Advocate, appears for respondent no.4.
Petitioner's claim for the benefit of payment of salary as per 6th Pay Commission Report is required to be examined in light of the law laid down by this Court in Service Single No. 11991 of 2017 decided on 27.2.2020 as also in Service Single No. 20324 of 2020 decided on 3.12.2020.
Writ petition accordingly is disposed of with the direction upon respondent no.5 to accord such consideration by passing a reasoned order, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of copy of this order unless there is no legal impediment.
