The petitioner was enrolled in the Diploma in Elementary Education Course being conducted by the respondent authorities. He was enrolled as a student in P.P.N.Memorial Society, Kanpur.
The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner appeared in Urdu examination which was conducted in May 2018, as part of Ist Semester of Diploma in Elementary Education Course. The marksheet of the petitioner has not been provided to him. The petitioner has made a representation in this regard. No action has been taken on the aforesaid representation.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition pending.
The matter is remitted back to respondent no. 1. A mandamus is issued to respondent no. 1 to decide the representation of the petitioner for declaring his result in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with fresh copy of representation.
The Court has not gone into the veracity of the assertions in the writ petition nor has the claim of the petitioner been judged on merits. It is for the competent authority to do so after independent application of mind.
The writ petition is disposed of.
