ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“issue an appropriate order or direction more particularly a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in issuing proceedings vide proc. No.155/AEC/CBIT/2014, dated 3.9.2014 by detaining the petitioner in B.E. I year II semester course, though the petitioner has wrote the exams and further directed the petitioner to pursue II semester during current academic year 2014-15 and not allowing the petitioner to attend for the III semester classes as illegal, arbitrary, abuse of process of law and against the principles of natural justice and consequently, to direct the respondent to allow the petitioner to attend the classes of the 2nd year BE course for the academic year 2014-15 and further direct the respondents to declare the results of the I year 2nd semester BE course.”
At the hearing, Ms M.Hemalatha, learned counsel for the petitioner, requested for permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, W.P.M.P.No.36954 of 2014 filed by the petitioner for interim relief is dismissed as infructuous.
