The only relief pressed by learned counsel for the petitioners is for issuing direction to the revisional court to decide stay application dated 19.8.2019 filed by the petitioners in the said revision while presenting the revision. It is noteworthy that on 2.9.2019 the revisional court had admitted the revision and it had issued notice to the opposite parties fixing 3.10.2019 for hearing.
Counsel for the petitioner points out that although stay application was filed alongwith the memo of revision but there is no mention of the same in the order of the District Judge passed on 2.9.2019.
Be that as it may, since the stay application is stated to be pending, the revisional court is directed to decide the same expeditiously provided the opposite parties are duly served. It is further provided that if the parties to the proceedings agree, the revisional court may proceed to decide the revision itself finally after fixing a date convenient to both the parties.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
