JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to grant 4 (Four) marks as grace marks towards the petitioner's theory paper of Paediatrics in the III Professional Part II M.B.B.S. held on June 2017 as per Medical Council of India Regulations chapter IV 13(10) & The Pondicherry University examination regulations 2009-2010 considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.08.2017.
2. According to the petitioner, he is entitled to get such grace marks as per the University Regulations. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner as it is for the 2nd respondent University to consider and decide, based on the University Regulations. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.08.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
