The petitioner has approached this Court on account of the non consideration of Ext.P1 complaint before respondents 1 and 2. The petitioner seeks a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to obtain the cheque given by the petitioner to the party respondent and return the same to the petitioner. I am of the view, the police has no such power to seize and return the cheque from any other person. If the petitioner has any other grievance against commission of offence by the party respondent, it is for the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
With the above liberty, this writ petition is disposed of.
