The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a direction to the third respondent to provide education loan, a sum of Rs.1,53,800/- (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Three Thousand Eight Hundred only) for the academic year 2017-2018 by considering his representation dated 06.03.2017.
2. Heard Mr.D.Balamurugapandi, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.K.R.Laxman, learned counsel for the first respondent and Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the second and third respondents.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner applied for education loan with the third respondent seeking Rs.1,53,800/- (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Three Thousand Eight Hundred only) for the academic year 2017-2018, the third respondent sanctioned only Rs.57,000/- and hence the petitioner gave a representation to the third respondent on 06.03.2017 for providing entire college fees as prescribed by the college. It is seen that it was not considered. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. The learned counsel for the respondent bank / third respondent would submit that as per the norms and the fees structure fixed by MR.JUSTICE.N.V.BALASUBRAMANIAN committee, the respondent bank had sanctioned Rs.57,000/- for the first year. So, the petitioner cannot ask more amount.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances, direction is issued to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.03.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
