The petitioners who were absorbed in the category of NMR service with effect from 21.10.2005 seek the grant of service benefits by reckoning their service with effect from 1.4.1984. Their representation Ext.P5 is currently pending before the 2nd respondent. The limited prayer of the petitioner is for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P5 representation within a time frame taking note of the judgments and consequential orders passed in the matter.
In the facts and circumstances of the case I direct the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P5 representation within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. While considering the matter, the 2nd respondent shall take note of Ext.P3 judgment and Ext.P4 consequential order produced by the petitioner.
