JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in A.P.No.1/2017 within a time frame.
2.Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government takes notice for the first respondent. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal itself.
3.Mr.R.G.Shankar Ganesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that aggrieved over the second show cause notice issued by the second respondent, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the first respondent along with stay petition. In the meanwhile, the second respondent is pressurizing the petitioner to give an explanation. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.
4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition and the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the stay petition filed by the petitioner within a period of one week and thereafter pass orders in the appeal in A.P.No.1/2017 within a period of six weeks on merits and in accordance with law after providing opportunity to the necessary parties.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
