The issue raised in this Writ Appeal is whether Exhibit P7 amending the pension scheme administered by the 1st respondent can affect the benefits of pension that is payable to employees like the appellant, who have already been retired from service. The contention having been negatived by the learned Single Judge, this appeal is filed.
2. We heard the learned counsel for the appellant, the learned Standing Counsel for the 1st respondent and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the 2nd respondent.
3. When the matter was taken up, the learned Standing Counsel for the 1st respondent made available copy of the judgment in W.A.No.1413/2012 dated 07.02.2014 rendered by this Court negativing identical claims and also objecting identical contentions.
In such circumstances, since the issue is fully covered against the appellants, this Writ Appeal is dismissed. The Registry shall W.A.No.1182/2014 -2-
append a copy of the judgment in W.A.No.1413/2012 to this judgment.
