JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. Issue notice. Mr.K.Venkatesh, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 1.1. With the consent of the learned counsels for the parties, the writ petition is taken up for hearing and final disposal.

2. The limited relief that the petitioner seeks is that his application, dated 06.07.2006, for grant of contract Carriage qua, Omni Bus Permit (dealt with in R.No.26220/A3/2016), be considered.
3. According to me, the prayer made is a reasonable one. 3.1. The respondent is, accordingly, directed to consider the aforementioned application of the petitioner, i.e., application dated 06.07.2006, and thereafter, pass a speaking order in that behalf.
4. The writ petition is disposed in terms of the aforesaid directions. No costs.
