JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioners have approached this Court seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to grant family pension to the petitioners by counting the services of the petitioners in the Food Corporation of India.
2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Standing Counsel for the 1st respondent and the learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent.
3. The learned Standing Counsel for the 1st respondent would submit that the 1st respondent is ready to return the amounts that were collected from the petitioners, and which are available with the said respondent, to the petitioners, on disposal of this writ petition. Taking note of the said submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the 1st respondent, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to return the amounts collected from the petitioners towards contribution under the pension scheme, during the period that they were working under the 2nd respondent between 1997 and 2012. The 1st respondent W.P.(c).No.10754 of 2013 : 2 : shall effect a payment of the said amounts together with a statement showing the details of the payment, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The writ petition is disposed as above.
