This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief;
"(i) Issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and diecting the respondent no. 3 to provide further time to complete and defect by carying the amendment in the column number 8(ii) of the Nomination Form-26, under Rule-36(4) of Representative of People Act, 1951.
(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing the respondent no. 3 to permit the petitioner to participate in the Election of Member of Parliament, which is scheduled to be held on 6th Phase i.e. on 12.5.2019 as per the notification of the Election Commission of India from the Seat No. 62 of the Constituency of Sant Kabir Nagar."
Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
From perusal of records, it appears that nomination paper, to contest the Parliamentary Election, of the petitioner has been rejected. Admittedly, the election process has already commenced.
In view of the above, we do not see any justification to interfere in the matter.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
