THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.633 of 2014 ORDER:
This contempt case is filed to punish respondent for not complying the orders of this Court in Crl.RC.MP.No.3570/2012 in Crl.RC.No.2374/2012, dated 18- 03-2014.
2. Heard both sides.
3. In the above referred Crl.RC.MP, this Court directed the respondent herein to pay Rs.1,00,000/- to the petitioner to meet the educational expenses of her son by name Prem Sameer on or before 24-03-2014. Respondent has not complied the said order within the stipulated time. After receipt of notice in this petition, on 19-06-2014, respondent offered the said amount of Rs.1,00,000/- by way of demand draft and that the petitioner has received the same without any protest. Further, respondent filed application No.596/2014 to enlarge the time of 74 days for complying the said order by condoning delay. Petitioner has not filed any counter in the said application. Considering the reasons assigned by the respondent, the delay of 74 days is condoned and the time is enlarged. Since the time is enlarged for complying the direction of this Court, there cannot be any violation as such this Contempt Case is liable to be dismissed.
4. Accordingly, this Contempt Case is dismissed.
5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Contempt Case, shall stand dismissed.
