Respondent This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the respondent to consider the documents produced by the petitioner in proof of date of birth mentioned in aadhaar card as per annexure-J submitted before the respondent passport officer.
This Petition coming on for Preliminary Hearing in ‘B’ Group, this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER None for the parties. Perused the records.
2. In this petition, the petitioner inter-alia has prayed for a direction to the competent authority to consider the application submitted by her for issuance of passport.
3. In the facts of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the competent authority to consider the application submitted by the petitioner for issuance of passport, if not already considered, in accordance with law by a speaking order within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of the order passed today. Ordered accordingly.
