1. Heard Ms. Akansha Yadav, Advocate holding brief of Sri Rakesh Pandey, learned counsel for petitioner and perused the record.
2. The question is, whether petitioner can claim benefit of reservation when the caste of petitioner, i.e., 'Meena' is not in the category of Scheduled Tribe in the Presidential Notification applicable for State of U.P.
3. This issue has already been considered and decided by Supreme Court in U.P. Public Service Commission, Allahabad vs. Sanjay Kumar Singh, 2003(7) SCC 657.
4. In view thereof, no relief can be granted to petitioner. Writ petition is accordingly dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
