Micheal Raj vs The District Collector

Madras High Court|15 February, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for disposal of the petitioner's representation, dated 19.01.2015, wherein and whereby he sought for shifting of a place, where the funeral rights are being performed by the Sathyanagar village people.
2.The fifth respondent filed a counter affidavit, wherein it is stated that the petitioner's representation was already disposed of on 11.04.2015 by directing the petitioner to approach the revenue authorities. When that being the factual position, it is for the petitioner to work out his remedy before the revenue officials by making appropriate representation. Needless to say that if any such representation is made, it is for the revenue officials to consider the same and pass orders, after hearing all the parties concerned.
3.With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
To:
1.The District Collector, Virudhunagar District, Virudhunagar.
2.The Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivakasi, Virudhunagar District.
3.The Tahsildar, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District.
4.The Inspector of Police, Thiruthangal Police Station, Virudhunagar District.
