The last drawn wages was quantified at Rs. 4,500/- per month by order dated 12.03.2013 in I.A. No. 9379/2010 in W.P.(C). No. 17979/2010. The management was further directed to pay the arrears of wages for the period from 16.12.2010 to the workman within a period of one month from 12.03.2013.
2. A sum of Rs. 1,22,538/- was paid by Demand Draft dated 15.04.2013 and another sum of Rs. 24,058/- by Bankers Cheque on 04.09.2013. The payments as above covers the period from 16.12.2010 to 15.04.2013 and 16.04.2013 to 31.08.2013.
The management subsequently on 27.08.2013 offered employment to the workman ofcourse at Pala and not at Ernakulam. The workman laments that he would be unable to live with this wages at Pala when his house is at Ernakulam. The workman prays for an appropriate posting at Ernakulam so that C.O.C. No. 381 of 2014 2 he can commute from his house.
3. It is for the petitioner to move in the writ petition pending for appropriate orders and no circumstances exist to pursue the Contempt of Court proceedings.
The Contempt of Court Case is closed.
