JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.10.2009, in connection with the petitioner's landed property, in S.No.27/6A.
2. Mr.Pala Ramasamy, the learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondent. With the consent of both parties, the writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if the petitioner is permitted to make a representation, with regard to the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai, and if he is directed to dispose of the said representation, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period fixed by this Court.
4. Mr.Pala Ramasamy, the learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondent did not have any objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, without going into the merits of the case, the petitioner is permitted to make a representation to the Revenue Divisionl Officer, Madurai, within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such representation being made, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai, is directed to dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter. The petitioner is directed to send a copy of this order, along with the above representation, to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
