Heard Sri Suresh Chandra Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Kunal Ravi Singh, learned counsel appearing for respondent no.1.
The petitioner applied for certain information under the Right to Information Act, 2005 to the Block Development Officer/Public Information Officer, Allahabad on 26.05.2014 but till date he has not been supplied with the said information.
If that is the position the remedy of the petitioner is to file an appeal to the State Commission under Section 19(3) of the aforesaid Act.
The writ petition, in view of the above, is dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy available to him under law.
