JUDGMENT / ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide Proceedings BCDFGISSSV No.729/2016 dated 19.07.2016, whereby the detenu, namely Gaja @ Gajendran, S/o.Sadanandam, aged about 29 years, was ordered to be detained under GOONDA as contemplated Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the wife of the petitioner dated 19.07.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt. No.4135 HOME, PROHIBITION & EXCISE (X) DEPARTMENT, dated 31.08.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
