THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.13162 of 2014 ORDER :
The petitioner intends to establish and run Nursing School in Badvel. An application was submitted as early as on 29.10.2004. Nothing has happened thereafter. On 19.02.2014, petitioner submitted a representation to the Principal Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Department of Health, Medical and Family welfare, Hyderabad requesting him to order inspection of the premises of the petitioner i.e., School of Nursing, which inspection is mandatory for the purpose of furnishing essentiality certificate and on account of inordinate delay in processing the issue and furnishing the essentiality certificate, great prejudice is caused to the petitioner to establish Nursing School. The representation submitted by the petitioner on 19.02.2014 is yet to be disposed of.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction be issued to the Government to pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 19.02.2014.
3. Having regard to the submissions made, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders as warranted by law on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 19.02.2014 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
