The solitary grievance of the petitioner appears to be that his appeal being appeal no. 02410 of 2019 (Merajuddin Siddiqui Vs. District Supply Officer Kanpur Nagar) filed on 11.11.2019, has remained pending since then.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping the present petition pending or calling for a counter affidavit.
Without entering into merits of this case, this writ petition is disposed of with the observation that in case the petitioner files a copy of this order before the respondent no. 2, the said authority shall proceed to decide the appeal pending before him since 11.11.2019 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this order before him.
