Learned counsel for the petitioner may correct the date in prayer no.(a) during the course of the day.
After the petitioner's father died, the petitioner prayed for the firearm licence to be transferred in his name. An application to this effect had been filed on 11.9.2019. The grievance of the petitioner is that this application was not being decided.
Without going into the merits of the case, it is directed that the application dated 11.9.2019 filed by the petitioner be decided within a period of one month from the date of presentation of a copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment. The copy of this order shall be duly certified by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
