Heard learned counsel for the applicant, Shri Ashish Dwivedi, learned counsel for opposite party no.2 to 4 and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record.
This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the court below for early decision of Session Trial No. 145 of 2020 C.N.R. No. UPMO- 010015672020 (State Vs. Kamal Hasan & others), arising out of Case Crime No. 78 of 2019, under Sections- 498-A, 323, 506 & 376 I.P.C. and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station- Katghar, District- Moradabad.
Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending since 2020. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of a certified/ computerized copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
