ORDER Learned Advocates for the petitioners in both petitions have filed memos of even date seeking leave to withdraw these petitions. The said Memos read as follows:
In Crl.P. No.7292/2016 “MEMO OF WITHDRAWAL The Counsel for the petitioner humbly submits that the Petitioner and the Respondent herein have amicably settled all claims and disputes inter se by a Settlement Agreement dated 12.02.2019 before the Bangalore Mediation Centre, and filed before the Ld. Family Court, Bangalore in M.C. No.5332/2014. That the Ld. Family Court, Bangalore has further granted a Decree of Divorce to the Parties herein on 28.02.2019 in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 12.02.2019.
That pursuant to the Settlement Agreement, it is submitted the Parties had agreed to withdraw all pending legal proceedings between them. In view of the same, the Counsel for the Petitioner prays that this Hon’ble Court take on record the documents produced and that the above-captioned petition be withdrawn, in the interest of justice and equity.
In Crl.P. No.7125/2016 The undersigned Counsel for the Petitioner herewith request this Hon’ble Court to kindly dismiss the above petition as withdrawn, as the matter is settled between the parties, in the interest of justice.”
Memos are placed on record. The criminal petitions are accordingly dismissed as withdrawn.
