1. A supplementary affidavit filed today is taken on record.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
3. This petition has been filed praying for a direction to the police authorities to give protection to the petitioners as they have married without their parents' approval.
4. The on-line registration of marriage receipt dated 18.12.2019 has been filed along with the supplementary affidavit.
5. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that both the petitioners are major and they have married out of their own sweet will on 11.12.2019 at Arya Samaj, Krishna Nagar, Prayag, Keedganj, Allahabad. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that since the petitioners have married against the wishes of their parents, they are being harassed by their family members.
6. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the S.H.O., Police Station Raya, District Mathura, who shall extend all necessary help and protection to the petitioners in terms of the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
