The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the judgement and order dated 26.11.2019 passed in Writ A No.16979 of 2019 (Meetu Upadhyay Vs. State of U.P. and 2 others).
Today when the matter is taken up, it is informed by learned counsel for the opposite party that the order passed by the writ Court has already been complied with and a decision has been taken on 29.09.2021. Copy of the same is taken on record and copy is also provided to the counsel for the applicant.
In this view of the matter, Court is of the opinion that the order passed by the writ court has been complied with, therefore, no cause of action remained survive.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed. However, in case applicant is still aggrieved it is open for the applicant to approach the appropriate forum, if so advised.
