1. A joint affidavit of both the petitioners filed today is taken on record.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
3. This petition has been filed praying for a direction to the police authorities to give protection to the petitioners as they have married out of their own sweet will.
4. The petitioners have filed their High School Certificate. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that both the petitioners are major and they have married out of their own sweet will. Since the petitioners have married against their parents wishes, they are being harassed by the family members. They also filed an application before the Superintendent of Police concerned, but they have not been extended any help, therefore, they have approached this Court.
5. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the S.H.O., P.S- Jasrathpur, District Etah, who shall extend all help and protection to them under the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
